nice….

So I’m feeling like my grandma today.. that’s pretty weird. Ok, I mean, because I was watching Home Shopping Club. This all came about because I was looking to buy a new camera. So saturday afternoon we’re flipping through the channels, and *bam* Home Shopping Network pops on. It has the camera for $399, plus a docking station. Ok, sweet, free docking station. (Best Buy has it for $399) But today only… oh no! (seriously, on their website its back up to $487!!!! Then Jen reminds me, “Hey, doesnt our entertainment book have a coupon for HSN?” holy shit, it does. (you ROCK baby!) I check, 25% off your first order. So now the camera is $300! With that price, I get a 256MB memory card too, total price comes to be cheaper than I would have gotten it for at Best Buy, PLUS, I got a camera dock and 256MB SD memory card. RULE

it was a fun morning for all!

So my morning starts out like this
1) I wake up 25 minutes after I normally LEAVE for work
2) I spent probably the next 20 minutes in the bathroom, a good reminder of why Pizza Hut *destroys* me
3) so of course now I have to drive, which sucks.
But the saving grace, me in my #20 Tony Stewart edition Trailblazer (ok, so it’s not FACTORY Tony Stewart, but I have enough stickers and crap to make it one….) Well I see this guy in a pickup w/ Jeff Gordon stickers and the whole lot. So I pull up next to him… pass him, then *gracefully* begin to get in front of him, aka CUTTING HIM OFF. I win!

Doesn’t seem to be as good as Jen’s morning. Walks out to the garage to find a fully flat tire. Takes it to Firestone, they put it up on the rack, and not one, but THREE tires have screws in them. Well, about that time anyway. Four new tires for you and off to work you go baby!

Well now our days are on their way. Ah well. Back to work I go!

Building engineers scare me

I sware, about once every month or two, our LAN room’s A/C unit goes out for some reason or another.
So I’m sitting here at my desk working away on some stuff, and the Lead Engineer stops at my desk and asks “um, is everything ok?” I think to myself “wtf did they do now?”, so I ask him “come on dude, did you guys cut over to river water or something?”
they actually didnt do anything, he just came over to check on things. I nearly died.. what, our building… NOT screwing something up… wow, i’m amazed!
