got my new server running, just time to install some apps, finish patching, blah blah blah blah
the only thing getting me through today is knowing there’s softball tonight. might not even play though.
rain in the forecast, weak. my future brother-in-law is on the opposing team, so i have to represen tonight dammit!
morning starts, i brought the WRONG train pass. so i have to buy a ticket on the train, at an extra $2.
of course, my El pass was w/ that ticket, so i walked to work too. I did get to watch a bum get arrested for having a GREEN PLASTIC squirtgun in his pocket. The cop was waving it at him yelling “why do you have THIS!????”

I really didnt play all that bad last night. Kinda suprised myself. Went 4-for-6 w/ 3 singles, a double and 3 RBI’s (if i remembered right, i AM old!)
I played catcher, which I didnt really mind since I played pretty well, tagging out 2 guys at the plate. Too bad about 20 guys after them scored, but it was a moral victory 
We’ll do better next week. First game jitters are gone

i’m going yard, thats all there is to it! i have to, since i’m too slow to leg anything out
